astro mick Posted January 11, 2014 Share Posted January 11, 2014 M81. Taken a couple of nights ago. Scope is an ED80,working at F6.3. HX916 ccd camera. L=9X600 secs. R/G=6X600 secs. B=9X600 secs. You seem to have quite a bit more data there that could be teased out. I agree with you 100% with regards to our slow sky conditions and I take my hats off to you for managing the LRGB sequence, last night I managed 55 minutes of data from 6 pm till 1.30 am and for the 2nd time in the past few days I had to dump the data due to poor standard. The idea of a super fast astrograph despite their troublesome nature is becoming more and more attractive, I am imaging at around F5 through APO EDs at the moment.Regards,A.G Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
