M35

Went down to up to the coast ( South Shields)) to view the Northern Lights. No luck with that but bagged M35.

Well, you did handsomely as I just love looking at M35 in my 10x50's!  I've been frequently looking at M35,37,36,38 and comparing results at different locations.  M35 is more pronounced and a great target!

M35 was my first Messier (not counting M42 and 45 of course) in binoculars. Very easy to find in my 16x50 , 20x60, and 25x70. I just got my new Orion 20x80 yesterday and will make sure to check M35 while testing them, right after Jupiter.
