Corkscrew Moon - Jan 6, 2014

Well it's probably just me, but about 30% along the terminator going from bottom left to top right, there's a bit that looks like a corkscrew!

It was a mono capture, and I've added a little bit of false colour and false slightly less than black sky. This is a single tile at prime focus, stacking about 1000 frames out of 2400 - not sure I needed to stack so many!

I see the corkscrew going out into the dark side lol never noticed that before! You need to zoom right in to see it.
