My first Moon Shots

Had a chance tonight to try out for the first time some prime focus shots of the moon using the C8-N and my new Canon Rebel XT. I must say as a first go at this technique i'm more than chuffed with these initial results. It's given me a great boost in confidence in confirming that buying the camera was the right decision.

Yep, nowt wrong with your camera Roy, I think the second image you tweaked a bit out of focus, but the first one

is very sharp.

I agree, out of the two the first is a much better focus. I was playing around quite a bit with various exposure / iso combinations and had to refocus after each tweak - it's quite tricky getting it just so with only the viewfinder image for reference.
