Hello from somerset.

Recommended Posts

Hello.

My name is Dave and i live in Wookey hole, somerset.

I've been into astronomy since i was a wee lad and only over the past 2yrs have i started to observe for myself after purchasing a Celestron 4.5" newt. Since then i have progressed to a Skywatcher ED80 pro.

My main interests are imaging the sun and the radio detection of meteors also i hope to have a functioning radio obs, set up by April.

I am currently studying with the OU, hopefully for a Bsc in Physical science leaning toward astronomy.

Dave.

Nice to have you join us over here on this forum.

BTW, I hope you don't actually live 'in' the Wookey Hole, as I've been in there a couple of times, and its a by damp. :D

Hi Dave, welcome to SGL from another Somerset dweller (Taunton). As a Scot I'm usually referred to by locals as a grockle though... :D
