Internally cleaning EP's

I would like to thoroughly clean some of my EP's. With the right tool I would imagine it to be fairly straightforward to disassemble an EP. Is the rebuild literally a reverse process or is it likely that some degree of 'skilled-fiddling' will be required to restore matters?

I have a 24mm Panoptic and 9mmT6 Nagler in mind.

It is unlikely you would need to clean inside an eyepiece (unless it had become immersed in water for example) - You just need to do the outside lens surfaces from time to time.  You can buy proprietery lens cleaning fluid and cloths.

Thanks Roger, but it is the inside that i need to clean. I have managed to clean the worst of my 9mmT6 by simply unscrewing the barrel into two halves thus gaining partial access inside. I would like to complete the job and do something similar to another EP which is going to involve the removal of the individual lens locking rings (threaded).

I would totally avoid doing this unless it's absolutely necessary as you could end up making the eyepiece unusable.as stated above,it's easy to go wrong.
