SLR with Dobby

So what sort of cheap camera could I use with my Skywatcher Skyliner 200P Dobsonian.

A web-cam for planetary imaging perhaps.

Dobs, even those with GOTO tracking are not generally recommended for imaging due to field rotation.

You could remove it from it's base and use mounting rings and a dovetail on a tracking mount. Most rings have a threaded 1/4 bolt or hole for a camera to be piggybacked. Prime focus with a full size DSLR might be an issue.

I'm not into long exposure stuff, just the moon etc, the scope comes with a camera mount already for a T ring, just wondered if a DSLR was feasible, but I suspect it would be because it has the same fixing.
