Deep sky with a Minolta DSLR...oh yes!

Finally after months of waiting, there are astro images starting to appear taken with the Minolta 5D and 7D. And they are crackers. Just from my 2 sessions out with the 5D, I knew the Minolta was very capable. But it appears they have a trump card...better red response compared to the Canons.

Anyway here's a few images i found while searching the web. All taken with the Minolta 7D. AND NONE TAKEN BY MYSELF.

I did stress these weren't mine. Just images found around the web. I've posted my effort in another thread.

I've found a few threads running suggesting the Minolta RGB filter is more sensitive to red....i wonder if this is true. Be great if it is.
