Progressed alot today, finished installing the walls and fitted the roof. Have yet to do the segment for the roof to roll of onto but for the time being the inside is of the priority. The partition wall is under way, big enough for me to stay warm in and work on either side. The pier is now wired up and the cable routed below the floor, just got to run power to the warm room and then work in there on the light/plugs.

Going to have the window side on hinges so i can have more of a view.

Did some more work today on the walls, fitted the hinged window section. Excuse the roof as i had to lift it for the window segment to fold down as it's designed to only fold down once the roof has been rolled off. Still got to add the roll off section to the back 2lc69kw.jpg

Electrical wise the pier has power to the double socket, warm room has the work surfaces added, plug sockets fitted and cabling routed with lighting. Last few connections need to be done then i can rejoin the power back up.

Quite a fair bit of work done today, finished the rolling roof, finished the power supply and fitted the last of the plug sockets/light switch, did a little more painting and tested how the scope sits on the pier.

Still yet to add the beading to the rolling bit as a guide for the wheels, finish up painting and add a new floor.

Well it's been some time since i last posted images regarding my observatory and lots has changed. I ordered a pier extension to reach that further bit over the walls and also to help with polar alignment/checking. Finished up routing the cables to the mount, layed a new floor and furnished my warm room to make it that little bit easier to bare in the cold. The roof is slightly rolled off in the image so i could see a little better in the fading light.
