Can EPs for fieldscopes be used in a telescope?

I've done some research, not able to get it, so hoping for your enlightment.

Pentax XFs are marketed as fieldscpie EPs, but perfect suitable in a telescope. Are there any other fieldscope EPs suitable too? Ii's not the easy to understand since they are designated in another way, and it seems there're different barrel sizes too, some seems to use thread to insert EPs? :confused:

It's mostly probably that long FL will show more field curvature than EPs for stargazing, any other differences do your folk see?
