Hi Guys

Just thought I'd break years of lurker tendencies, and introduce myself.

Live in Loughton, South Essex. Been proud owner of LX200 for a 2 years or so, dont get as much time as I would like, not enough money for new toys, but still having fun....

Just got a canon 400d for Christmas and just started experimenting on Saturday night. I do have a LPR filter for the back of the scope, think I will have to start using it. Previously been doing ToUcam planets that dont suffer in the same way - all new to me this deep sky stuff - perhaps should ask Mrs if move to californain mountains could be considered.

What is that a picture of on your sig - looks a bit like an Aurora - in essex?

Meade LX200 Eh? Got to be good. I got a LX90, I nearly used it once. :rolleyes:
