A few quick moons - Dec. 4th & 5th

A few quick grabs of the moon from Wednesday and Thursday. I had trouble trying to get focus for the first one in particular, it's the first time I've tried to image such a slim moon. Still, at least I now have an image of the moon in its diet phase Just for fun, a crazy blue version at the end.

Both phases very nice, Luke. Having never attempted such a new moon it never occurred to me how tricky focus would be but you seem to have nailed it.

Very nice! I tried my hand at the slim crescent on the 4th. I knew it was my last chance as this storm moved in. My attempts were nowhere near that impressive. Love the detail in yours.
