Skade
Hi! I'm just starting out with stargazing and telescopes and things of the sort. I'm a first year college student with plans to major in physics. I've been intersted in astronomy ever since I was little (I remember in first grade I was so excited to learn the planets!) and eventually my love of astronomy has expanded to include physics as well.I've never used telescopes before. I'm looking to get my own right now and to possibley join the local astronomy club.Besides for astronomy/ physics I'm also interested in language-learning, religions, and just science in general.I'm super excited to get started on this hobby. I can hardly wait until I am experienced enough to be able to start up astrophotography.Anyway, I'll keep this short. Nice to meet you all! Zuben Elgenubi
Welcome to SGL Skade These forums are a great source of advice and information, but going along to a local astronomy society observing session will allow you to get some first hand experience of different telescopes before you buy one (if you haven't already).
