Big meteorite?

I was setting up my scope last night at about half nine to catch Jupiter in my field of view when I saw the biggest meteor flare I,ve ever seen. This was in Gemini so this was an early part of the shower (only saw one all night). The thing is I,ve seen hundreds of these things and their normally a white one second fizzle and probably the size of a grain of sand. The one last night was more like a fireball it was more orangey red and lasted 3 seconds.I,m wondering if anyone saw it.

How big would it have to be to last that long ..........a brick?

Regards to everyone Jonn
