Double cluster in Perseus

Hi all

Very windy night but clear skies on Saturday, had been out for a meal but decided to give it a go when I got back. Unfortunately the C14 was acting like a big windsock so I was restricted to short exposures. Any enough excuses on my behalf.

This is 120 x 30 second exposures taken with a William Optics 66 with 0.8 focal reducer and Starlight Xpress M8C piggy backed on the C14 on Paramount ME unguided, no binning or filters were used so the M8C was in its native mode of 3.15 uM pixels.

Whenever I tried looking through the C14 even with a 40mm eyepiece the image was dancing all over the place whenever there was a gust of wind, this is why I cut the exposures to 30 seconds so that I could get some usable images, the image is also on my website www.imagingtheheavens.co.uk

Regards

Gordon
