Free Introduction to Astronomy course

I've done quite a few courses through this site, including one about the Big a bang which was brilliant.

I'm starting an Introduction to Astronomy course next week, run by Duke University. The lectures are all free and you get a certificate at the end to print out at home. This course is 12 weeks long I think. They are usually just video lectures to watch and quizzes to complete.

I thought some of you might be interested in it too?

I must admit, I couldn't do the equations on the Big Bang course but still ended up with a distinction so I think I'll struggle there but hoping I can do it.

I signed up a few weeks ago too.

I am dyslexic and am worried about the maths, but have been getting a bit of tuition on the algebra and it's laws.

At least I get to see the videos and material .

I sighned up to the course a few weeks back too, looking forward to getting stuck into it as soon as I wake up a bit........(.long weekend at work)!!

I have just signed up as it looks really interesting - not sure I'm up for the maths though

Signed up and started. Very very good. The simulators are fantastic.

Now I have brain ache!
