QHY23 first light image

Hi

My first pic with the QHY23...and my first go at mono CCD imaging.  (DSLR until now)

LRGB - all 3 minute exposures (10 frames each filter).  Binned 2x2.

Thanks Steve.  I was surprised how much came out with so little time.  

I was impatient on my first clear night.  I wanted to get M81 and M82, so decided to keep it shorter than I should.

I haven't processed M82 yet...will post when I do.

Oh I forgot to ask anyone...

When you process mono filtered images, do you have to compensate for the QE of the camera when making an LRGB image?  

I factored the strength of each filter by the relative efficiency of red, green and blue QE on the camera.  I assumed that Luminance was 100% and then multiplied the RGB to compensate for the spectral response.

Is that right or not??

I have also done one with no compensation, but haven't finished processing it yet.
