Unless it's completely different to the Altair Astro job; Normally, it's used much like a 2" barlow, but you have to add additional spacers between the body and lens elements, to ensure correct

(average) spacing to the EPs in use.

If it only gets used with only one particularly  wide field EP, like I found with my ES82 30mm, then you could just screw it and the correct spacers, into that EP.
