Alcyone (Eta Tauri)

While messing with some images of M45 I knocked up this image of Alcyone.

This is an easy to find and view multiple star.

Alcyone is an eclipsing binary plus three other companions.

Alcyone A is two blue/white giants seperated by the approx distance of Jupiter is to the Sun.

Not possible to split this pair.

Alcyone B and Alcyone C are both mag 8 white dwarfs and are separated from A by 117 and 181 arcsecs respectively.

Alcyone D is a yellow/white dwarf at mag 8.7 seperated by 191 arcsecs from A.
