Can you add a focal reducer to finderscope?

Say, you want to slightly increase the field of view of your finderscope...which I think a lot of us agree will be useful.

I don't think it would be worth the trouble, you should be able to point a telescope within 5 degrees (10 full Moon diameters) at an object with a bit of practice.

I'd try putting in a longer focal length eyepiece instead of the finder front lenses :-) Surplusshed may have something.

The problem with the reducer: The magnification will decrease, but depending on the tube and possible internal stop-down the visible field may be limited.
