Peak Star Party 2014

Recommended Posts

Bookings Now Open!!!

PSP2014 is confirmed for 17 to 20 October at Shallow Grange - we have booked warm days and clear nights for the whole weekend...!

Bookings through the website at http://www.peakstarparty.com as normal. We have restricted the website to existing users until the end of the month, when bookings will be opened to everybody else.

Plans for the weekend are well under way and Shallow Grange have been brilliant in helping out with wet weather planning (in case!) - details to follow later on.

Thanks all, and see you next October,

PSP.

Thanks all - we are sharing booking admin this year to avoid some of the delays in responding from 2013 so press email info@peakstarparty.co.uk if you have any persistent issues with booking in.

Also, we have beanie hats, insulated mugs and bumper stickers available to pre-order in the merchandise section.

Looking forward to it already...

James.

Booked, but didn't realise merchandise section exist!

You should do Vistaprint style and offer it during checkout...

I will sort out pitch allocations in a couple of weeks, just before we open bookings to the public.

Neptune is a great field to be in - best views on a decent night - but 2013 was a bit of an eye-opener about how exposed it is in bad weather. Not sure what we will come up with yet but we have moved one of the Marshal pitches to this field for 2014 and are looking at options with Shallow Grange.

Thanks,

James.

Good stuff James.

I have been tempted by Neptune but on balance Saturn being less exposed is the better option for me. The problem with Saturn is headlights from cars on the road mean it is difficult to get properly dark adapted. Neptune is far better shielded as far as I am aware as you say.

Is there room over the back for Saturnians ;-) to set up away from their tents if desired?

Stu
