All the eyepieces I need

The collection is now complete:

Maxvision (68 degree) 24mm & 16mm

BST Starguider 12mm, 8mm & 5mm

BST Wide Angle 3.2mm

Each EP is around 50% more magnification than the one before. So in my big scope I have a range of x42 (1.63 degree FOV) to x313 and in the little scope I have x27 (2.51 degree FOV) to x203.

Now I don't "need" and more EPs.

You do have all the bases covered though, unless you take a fancy to the wider fields of view that a 2" eyepiece could give.

I had a first, very quick go with them last night.  The 24mm Maxvision is very good - contrast and colour were very impressive.  Thanks to everyone on this forum for recommending it.

The 16mm Maxvision is nice too.  I can see that being the one I use most with my 130PDS.

Conditions last night were pretty poor for high power EPs, but the Starguiders are a known quantity anyway.

Now I don't need any more EPs i can still think about an 82 degree maxvision, or maybe a nice zoom, or some 2" EPs...
