Storm Sun in White Light, 28/10/2013

After the worst of the storm had passed by the UK today, I was able to just about grab some white light. Not quite as many frames as I wanted, but relieved that this one seems to have processed okay. I have had a very tough time with a white light image from the previous day, taken with exactly the same setup

I'm hoping I can finish a H-a shot from similar time too, as I think I caught a solar flare. Shortly after the flare, an airplane flew over the disc too. I was waiting to see a unicorn next, but no luck on that one!

Great solar image Luke. The Sun is certainly active at the moment and your image shows that. Look forward to seeing the H.alpha image.
