Safety Lanyard on Atik cameras ???

Anyone know how to attach one to Atiks - particularly the Atik 460?  Crazily, there is no "eye" for such a lanyard to pass through cast in the metal of the camera or filter wheel.  Thats a bonkers ommision in my opinion.  Soemthng would need to stick onto the metalwork so that I could attatch such a safety lanyard.

Ayone got any ideas please?  I don't want £2800 worth of camera and filter wheel dropping on the concrete floor. Trying to see this hazard off at the pass as it were.

Thanks, Steve

Hi Steve,

Isn't the outer casing grooved, maybe you could whip some strong thread around the rear grooves to create a lanyard.

Another alternative is to secure a lanyard to one of the screws that holds the rear plate. I know they they can be removed safely as they are

replaced if you use the  dedicated cable retainer.

cheers

Steve
