The Thing - Sun in White Light, 23/10/2013

Well the main AR in the middle looks like something, but I am not sure what it looks like... So I am calling this image "The Thing"   Quite a cool-looking AR. I enjoyed having a quick look at the eyepiece too.

Nice thing Luke. That thing blasted out an M4.2 class flare last night at about 9.20pm. it was a beauty.
