Heart & Soul FOV

As I posted in your status update.... nope :)

Best way to check is to use the Stellarium oculars plugin, just give it the optics information and the pixel size, count and chip dimensions - and it will frame whatever you go to in stellarium. Its fantastic for planning mosaics.

The Pacman will fit with room to spare, but being as its an all new setup you might want to try it on something that will test the corner stars.

Also, while youre at it - use the 2/3rds focusing method. If you focus with a centrally placed star, the corners will be pants. Just slew the mount so the star is about 2/3rds out from the centre, then focus it. You will find the stars will improve right across the frame.

Edit: I forgot to add, make sure your camera is mounted square to the focuser and stellarium is in EQ mode. That way, whatever you see in stellarium is exactly what you will see in your camera FOV. It might give you clues as to whether you need to rotate your camera to frame the object correctly (some objects require a 90deg turn to get better framing). That can be emulated using the rotation function of the oculars plugin.
