Isn't it a bit odd that the newer 82's are Argon purged as an update to Nitrogen, yet this is still Nitrogen?

Yep, ES have them as Argon, looks like it is slightly "old" stock from Telescope House.

Equally the little green sticker on the eyepiece in the image says "Ar", so maybe it is Telescope House that have the product description wrong.
