Well that was a bust!

I set my alarm for 03:00 and, when it went off, a quick look out the window showed a fairly bright moon through some thin cloud. I thought that the scope and Toucam would be able to cut through the thinner cloud as it passed over the moon and reveal mars too.

I was right, well I think I was right. Now and then, for a few fleeting seconds I could see the moon and Mars through the murk in the EP. Unfortunately, those odd few seconds here and there were not long enough to get focus and acquire an image, even a poor one. :D

Two damn hours I stood there, freezing to death.

Someone please remind me why we do this stupid hobby? :?
