Venus 22/9/2013 UV/IR

This is my fist go with a UV pass filter. Not a lot of light to use at f20 with the UV filter so its hard work for the camera(and user). I might need to look at getting a barlow more suited to UV imaging than the Powermate by the looks. But anyway here it is.

ASI120MM camera.
Astrodon UVenus UV pass filter
Baader 685nm IR pass filter
13000 frames per filter stacked AS!2 and processed in Photoshop and PixInsight.
GSO 10" f4 modded for prime focus.
Televue 5x powermate.
Celestron CGE mount.
Captured with Firecapture.

Thanks. I just used PS and used UV as blue and IR as red and green then just changed them a bit to suit what was in my head.

very impressive image. I do not think I have ever seen an amateur image with better cloud detail on Venus, especially with a scope your size.
