Lucky moon - 12/09/2013

I've been itching to try out my new ProPlanet 742 IR-pass filter on the moon, and caught a lucky gap in the clouds yesterday, rushing out with my grab and go lunar kit.

I say gap, but it was more of a thinning, and I wasn't sure what to expect when processing it. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.... I am surprised at how much detail there still was. I stacked about 1000 frames out of 3000.
