Wonderful pics.

What exposure times and lenses did you use?

Iused a Samyang 14mm f 2.8 lens.The 3 milky way exposures were between 20 and 25 seconds at iso 10 000

Great captures. I think you may have even picked a band of green air glow in the final image? Air glow is only seen from really dark skies and not associated with aurora.

We've managed to get air glow in quite a few shots from Loch More.

Very nice. But i think Theres to much saturation and alot of noise caused by post processing.

Clarity used?

No

Did you mean ISO 10,000?

I didn't realise anything went that high!

Yes ten thousand. The mark3 goes up to 102 000 and I took a hand held shot of noctilucent clouds at iso 102 000.Noisy as hell though but the clouds showed up.I meant to try it out at the last aurora display but I forgot.

What is a mark3? A Canon DSLR? (excuse my ignorance).

Canon 5Dmk III which is their current Pro spec Full Frame sensored camera... With nice big fat sensitive pixels...Good for low noise performance at high ISO...

Can't wait to try this camera and lens combo at Kelling in a few weeks time...
