Much better than my attempts.

Have you experienced slippage of the focuser?...your setup may be heavier than mine so would be interesting to know.

Maybe I have to adjust it somehow?

Thanks Tom, steep learning curve this malarky! I adjusted the focuser when I first got the scope, and have always found it to be rock solid.  I am hanging the atik 314l and EFW2 filter wheel with a full set of filters, and also a reducer, and it is fine. However, now I have installed the AA Stepper motor upgrade http://www.altairastro.com/product.php?productid=16439&cat=294&page=1 and it is excellent. More cash of course, but it is the best electric focuser I have ever used, and there is no possibility of slippage now due to the interlocking gear teeth.
