A pleasant session today with nice and clear but slightly hazy sky, gave me a chance for some much needed sun time. I took 2 mosaics with the Lunt LS60T plus x1.6 barlow lens. I had time for two 6 pane mosaics, one single stack and one double stack. Despite the lovely sunshine, the seeing was very turbulant and deteriorated quite quickly.

These turned out better than expected. I thought I had pushed it a bit too far considering how unstable the seeing was. These are with a x2.5 powermate and x1.6 barlow.

I love the close ups especially. Was it a powermate for one shot and barlow for the other? Or the two stacked for both shots?

I used the x1.6 barlow for the full disc mosaics, then added the x2.5 PM to it, so you could say its a hybrid x4 barlow. It shows a slight hint of newton rings on the lappy screen, but they don't seem to show after stacking.
