Early morning beauty.

Up at 4 this very morning, lovely crescent Moon with the belt of Orion and a bright Jupiter in the East.

Light cloud meant that it wasn't worth looking further, but get out if you want an early catch and the first signs of autumn watching,

Nick.

Yep , lovely Nick. Got out a few days ago and it was great to see Jupiter again. Glimpse of Orion and the twins. Can't wait. Saying that though, got loads of GCs last night with the first dark clear moonless sky in what seems months. Dreadful dewing though

Just bumping Nick's thread to see the difference a month makes, on my way to work early yesterday Orion was further round to the south followed by Jupiter.......... taking its place to the east was Leo, a favourite of mine. Seeing this I know the Virgo/ Coma galaxy clusters wont be far behind!!
