beatledave
Hi,How do you blend layers in GIMP so that they are all the same shade or colour? I've taken a number of images of the moon on my webcam, stacked them on Registax and have pieced them together on GIMP. It looks great but you can just about make out some of the joins due to slight differences in shade. Any ideas how to get around this?CheersDave
David Smith
Depends what you want to do. If you simply want to flatten the image to export to somrthing like a png or jpg then you can use the menu Layers - Merge Down. If you want to blend them together then you need to use the gradient tool and might find this youtube video useful (also includes the flatten routine too).
