NGC 7380 + Sh2-142 "Wizard Nebula"

Recommended Posts

NGC 7380 is a bright opened star cluster massive of type about and B which rose 4 million years ago. Sh2-142 is emission nebula, or area HII in which these stars are plunged. The characteristic structure has wreathed bright edges and lines of dust in the shape of bows. The such configuration is implying that this area HII is a bubble in fact ionize of gas, arranged along the surface of one's parent molecular cloud, but seen from the side of the edge.
