White light Sun, 16th August

First one for two weeks, and by the skin of my teeth at that. I actually had to abandon the last four frames because leaves on the trees were getting into the field of view. The seeing wasn't stunning, but I'd not usually expect it to be that late in the afternoon. It wasn't hideous either though and I'm never going to complain about a clear sky.

120 frames of 1/1000th @ ISO100, 450D & 127 Mak. Preprocessed with PIPP and 37 stacked in Registax v6.

I have my eye on somewhere much further afield. It's a very slim chance though, particularly as the people commissioning the work won't get their finger out...
