Northern Lights

Just popped out a look between showers and noticed a lovely aurora,not spectacular but a beautiful blue green glow with a few bright search lights reaching up to the Plough,anyone seeing them further south?

Couldn't see the aurora down here in Norfolk but in between showers Holmes was naked eye and very big!

I was out observing, about 20 miles north of Glasgow yesterday evening - nice clear night from 6-9pm, when the cloud rolled in - pwerhaps just as well as it was 13 degrees and the car nearly ended up sliding into a ditch as I drove along a single track road.

But no Northern Lights down here (unfortunately).
