Sam
Here's 5hrs 35mins of NGC 346 by my Canon 1000D through a 250px via 67 x 300sec exposures. I think my MPCC spacing is not quite right. This nebula sits in the Small Magellanic Cloud about 210,000 light years away.
ultranova
Dont think i have seen that one before,I think you could be right about the spacing, but focus looks a little soft as well.thanks for sharingPaul
Sam
Thanks Paul. I've got to have a close look at what's going at the focuser and see if I can reduce the distance. With the earthquakes we've had lately I wouldn't be surprised if the alignment has gone out as well.
Jannis
First time i've seen this i think. Very nice. How did the stars turn out looking like that though? Field rotation or tracking/guiding issue?

Field rotation or tracking/guiding issue? Not sure, I think it might be the alignment off, CDC was certainly not all that accurate in that part of the sky. I going to have to spend some time on the setup the next time it's clear.
