Narrowband

Widefield Eastern Sky

Recommended Posts

I tried to capture some of the Milkyway, but since my south is a bit obstructed I tried more to the east.

This is with a piggybacked 1100D AV4 ISO 1600 with standard lens and about an hour of data.

The result is not really what I hoped for but it was my first piggy back shot anyway.

Still you can see NGC7000 and some other patches of nebulosity.

Nice! I got an 1100d not long ago but it doesn't seem to pick up as much red as you've got there even from a pretty dark site. Have only done a few 5min subs though, maybe I need to catch more data.
