jetstream
Tonite under very challenging conditions I managed to split Izar first time out.Its been raining on & off for days now but there are breaks in the clouds, must be high mph clouds up there.....sure moving in and out fast.Nearer the horizon the stars look like they could be signal lights!Blinking that fast & hard. But during a few minutes of better seeing,I saw a yellowy orange big star with a very bright blue small star next to it.That double is an awesome sight!I used my TV 3-6 zoom & could split it from 157x to 210x.Awesome colours. chiltonstar
Well done - it's a lovely sight, isn't it. Some would say it's prettier than Albireo as the two stars are so close together that the colour contrast is even more striking.Chris
