First Mars

This is the first Mars i have managed this year - bit grainy but pleased to get back into webcam use.

CPC1100

SP900c webcam with x3 Meade 5000 barlow

about 260 frames stacked and processed in Registax

Nothing to be too disappointed about PB. There is detail visible, so perhaps a little tweaking in PS or some other prog might bring it out a bit more. It is there, just needs coaxed a bit.

Good first attempt PB. The focus looks good, just maybe get more frames next time.

BTW, are you using an IR filter?

Did use an IR block and meant to mention it - there was actually 1000 frames stacked but Registax tells me it only used 200+, mabye wrong.

Nice image , PB.

As Ron said , a bit of tweaking in PS would give better colour and help bring out some details.

I used CS2 then put it back into Registax and used the wavelets.

Could probably push it a bit more.
