Helios 8ins reflector f5, atik 1-c, 3X barlow and neodymium filter

one of those lucky nights when everything was perfect.. 8)

No i live between leeds and wakefield so the light pollution is very bad round here, it's just a constant orange glow that sits low in the sky.. :clouds2:

Excellent picture indeed. Assuming this is a stacked image, how does this compare to what you see through the eyepiece at the same time?

i remember martin doing that one , we both had similar images on the same night , i think martin picked about 1500 frames on that he will put me right on that all stacked , well through the eyepiece we can see the GRS OK and the bands and some stormy area,s but nothing like the finished image we see here , this was one of martins best images and a very nice one to , cheers for sharing Martin
