Hi there, just posting an introductory post from a currently cloudy (but warm) Coventry in the UK.

Been looking up at the night sky on and off most of my life and know most of the main constellations and the brighter stars.

Have played around with binoculars but have now made the plunge with my first telescope - a Skywatcher 150PL with EQ3 Pro mount and hope to investigate the night sky a bit more now and hopefully drag the kids away from the Xbox occasionally!

I've been browsing the forum for ages but now as I've got a 'scope thought I'd take the plunge and become a member. If anyone knows of any decent darkish sites in the West Midlands area please post and let me know.

Anyway, that's me for now.

Cheers

Rob

Hi Rob welcome to the lounge

Once you get the hang of your kit, nice set up by the way,

and you show your kid's the craters on the moon, they will

be dragging you out of the house.

Enjoy and Clear Sky's
