My First Image Of The Moon

Hi I've just started to get into imaging so thought I'd post this of the moon that I took awhile ago I think its the Tycho crater but not sure it was done with my Skywatcher 150 mac manual guiding with a second hand Philips webcam 1000 frames put through registax 5.1 its not great but thought I'd post anyway thanks for any comments. Looks like Tycho to me. I think it's overexposed though and that has probably not helped with the processing. Try opening the histogram window in whatever capture application you're using and adjust the exposure until you're filling no more than 75% of the histogram.

If you have a DSLR it's also worth experimenting with that on the back of the Mak, though if you have it on a completely manual mount it could well be a bit tricky.
