robindurant
HiRain and clouds cleared for two hours last night, bit windy so took 30 x 15 second subs at ISO1600 so as to keep the core detail as much as possible, stacked 20. Surprised to find that I had the running man as well. Startravel 80 - Canon 350D CS2 & Noels(click to enlarge)

Grant
Nice work Robin!Have you tried experimenting stacking different sets of exposures together? I tried the other day stacking 20 x 3s, 20 x 10s, 20 x 30s & 20 x 180s - it worked reasonably well with the core not being burnt out and lots of detail in the wispy bits but, I didn't take any darks so it was very very noisy!Cheers,Grant
