AR1785 mosaic 11 july 2013

Tried imaging a mosaic with the Lunt LS60f filter mounted on the front of my 120mm XLT. I wanted to see how good the filter would be when used as a single filter front mounted on the scope as opposed to using it for double stacking . You can draw your own conclusions.

This is a 7 pane mosaic of the current AR taken with a DMK31 plus x1.6 barlow. and stacked in AS!2, pp in CS5 .I may try a powermate over the weekend if the seeing is better. I mayeven try this on the 150mm C6R when I can fabricate an adapter to mount it.

Looks good to me Allan. You should try a mosaic on your Lunt, get the full disc?
