Still on the look for a portable telescope mount that I can use maximum with 80ED or 127 Mak.

I've come across the Skywatcher Allview Multi-Function. Seems appealing and versatile for my need. I can see it'll handle the 80ED, and also many other things especially sky panoramic / time-lapse photography which I occasionally do.

I'm thinking, the handset...will it work on the NEQ6 as well?

Anybody using it?

Oops, sorry, I considered the Skytee, but it's not within the price range.

I don't have the CG-5 Go-to...it was sold. Plus, it is not exactly grab and go.

Yes, the Skytee II is quite heavy - can be taken to meets, but I wouldn't classify it as a 'grab and go' mount

I was checking one of these out in Opticstar last weekend. If you need a mount for a small refractor and for time-lapse I would say go for it.

You can specify a dedicated lead for your DSLR and use the handset for time-lapse programming.

It is not the sturdiest of mounts but light weight may be a bonus in the field.
