chiltonstar
Despite the light sky and haze, I thought I'd try a few doubles tonight including Alkalurops (Mu Bootis) which I'd seen in TLAO but never looked at. Well worth the effort - a triple star with one bright component, 109 arcsec away from a close pair (2 arcsec apart). The close pair were readily split in my 5" Mak at x150 and x190, despite the average seeing conditions. The colours seemed to me white or whitish yellow - not nearly as spectacular as the nearby Izar!Chris

Doley68
I observed Mu Bootis on Wednesday. I couldn't see any colours either but it is a nice sight with the bright A component and the tight B and C pair a little further away. There are some nice doubles in Bootes.Chris.
