There was one advertised a few weeks ago in Derby I think that went for £50.00 (collect only)

I too researched these and found only bad reports on them. It certainly isn't a C8

The mount could be useful if modified for either binocular use or as a DSLR time-lapse mount.

Shame it is 180 miles away but if it is cheap enough may be worth a ride out or £30.00 on a courier collect.
